One of the things I’m most thankful for this Thanksgiving is my trip to Bamberg, and being able to use your fine malt in all our many breweries.
Antwort: Hello fellow brewers, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you from the other side of the ocean! The red Weyermann® jumpsuits for the GABF winners, who brewed their beers with Weyermann® Specialty Malts will leave Bamberg by next week!

Hello Sabine,
I want to send a belated note of thanks to all of you at Weyermann® for showing me and Tod Mott and all the folks from Montreal a great time in Bamberg. As usual, y´all are fantastic hosts and I always pick up a little bit more information with every trip that helps us in our job of making good beer. Of course, that´s what it is all about, but y´all really make it all a pleasure. Please send my warm regards to Oliver and Marcus in the brewery, Andreas, Juergen and Ulli and everyone there that makes a visit to Weyermann® such a pleasure. And a special thanks to you and Fanny and Thomas - y´all are great hosts. Looking forward to seeing you in Chicago.

Herzlichen Dank für Ihre unglaubliche Gastfreundschaft, die ich im Juli erleben düurfte. Ich war anwesend mit meiner Familie und meinem Bruder von Neuseeland. Es war sehr schön bei Euch.
Herzlichen Dank für Ihre unglaublich gute, komplexe, immer überraschende, wunderbare Malze. Ich freue mich über eine gewonnene Gold-Medaille für "Dry Stout" bei der Europeean Beer Star 2009. Diese Medaille ist auch Eure Medaille, "Dry Stout" lebt von Malzen und die sind von Euch.

Dear Weyermann family,
In July of this year I had the pleasure of attending the 130 year
anniversary party in Bamberg. I attended together with my wife, my son
and my brother who was visiting from New Zealand, where I also originate.
We enjoyed ourselves immensely and were overwhelmed by the hospitality
extended to us. Please accept our thanks and convey them to everybody at
Weyermann®.
I have another matter of thanks, I am happy to inform that we at the
Bier Factory in Rapperswil-Jona won a gold medal at the European Beer
Star competition this year with our Blackbier in the Dry Stout category.
We are thrilled of course and would like to convey our thanks to you all
at Weyermann® as this medal is all about Malt. In this case it is pretty
well all Weyermann® malt and so this medal is just as much yours as well
as ours.
Your black -and special malts are a pleasure to brew with. Always of
high technical quality but also packed full of complex hidden flavours
and nuances that, while challenging, are also very rewarding to reveal.
Maybe i can arrange with Mr. Koch to have some bottles of "Blackkbier"
brought up to you that you may decides for yourselves.

Greetings Sabine,
I just received a package from you. Thank you for the "sweet" overalls, the pictures and the disk of pictures. I am wearing the overall today. I brewed a batch of Munich Dunkel the week after I got back to the brewery. It is now lagering til mid December. We had such a great time in France and Bamberg, again thank you and Thomas. Cheers!
