Fire brigade at Weyermann® - just for training

At Weyermann® in Haßfurt the local fire brigade trained for an emergency. The scene: A truck gets on fire at the grain receiving area with extreme smoke development.
Shortly after the alarm the fire department arrived. To protect the gas tank and avoid overheating the men created a water wall. In this created catastrophe it was also expected that a person went missing within a silo. With professional breathing protection the firemen made their way through the staircase of the silo, with extreme smoke development, because the 45 m emergency ladder wasn´t tall enough.
The rescued men, a 70 kg puppet, needed to be carried over a staircase to the 6th floor. From there they went further down over the ladder. After this spectacular rescue situation the firemen extinguished the fire.
Weyermann® is relieved to know that such a reliable fire brigade is on their side in case of emergency.
