Weyermann® Malt at the Copenhagen Beer Festival

From the 26th to the 28th of May Andreas Richter, quality management of Weyermann®, attended the Copenhagen Beer Festival. Mr. Richter is a knowledgeable beer judge, judging at various beer festivals all over the world.
At the annual Danish so called „Ølfestival“, a gastronomic festival, one of the biggest ones of its kind in Europe enthusiast and newcomers had the opportunity to taste around 1000 different beer specialities from around 200 micro or commercial breweries from Europe, the US and Canada. Among the exhibitors one also found Danish traditional breweries such as Carlsberg and Tuborg as well as various craft- and microbreweries from the little kingdom, to name a few: Ølfabrikken or Raastad Bryghus.
The beerfestival 2011 took place at the historical tap room TAP1 of the Carlsberg Brewery in Valby, a district of Copenhagen. Organizer of the festival was the club of the Danish Beer aficionados (Danske Ølentusiaster).
