As most Danish microbrews are brewed with Weyermann malts, we would appreciate if a visite to your Bamberg maltery is possible?
We are 13 Danish bier enthusiasts of which a few are home brewers arriving in Bamberg for bier tasting Friday, May 16 at noon. So, Friday afternoon or Saturday if poosible? We are leaving Monday morning.

We are happy to show you around, please note that we will charge 15 € per person for a tour of the weyermann world, including visitor certificate, beertasting and pretzel. I just used your "Premium Pilsner" malt for the first time.
This malt is not good- it is perfect!

This fall I brewed Moylans first lager (Oktoberfest) and made the Christmas beer with lager yeast as well. I also use a portion of Weyermann malt in just about every beer ....Acidulated malt is a necessity with our municipal water. We were very fortunate to have won two gold and a silver medal at the last GABF and I am in the middle of brewing all of the competition batches for the upcoming World Beer Cup. The beer lovers in Novato are happy so I guess I am as well.

Sehr geehrte Frau Weyermann,
auch diesmal war das "Ehemaligentreffen" sehr gut besucht Es erfreut
sich nach wie vor großer Beliebtheit und
wird zur Dauereinrichtung. Oft werde ich während des Jahres schon
gefragt "wann denn mal wieder .... ?".
Das Interessante für uns daran ist, zu sehen, wie sich unsere ehemaligen
Schüler entwickeln.
Mit anderen Worten, vom Facharbeiter bis zum Dipl.Brm.und Dipl.Ing. ist
alles vertreten.
Für die Übernahme der Bierkosten möchte ich mich allerherzlichst bedanken !
