Weyermann® at Desta 2011

Desta is an exhibition in Volkach focusing on finest spirits. It was the first time that Weyermann® participated.
Present at the Weyermann® booth were the customer care representatives Gabriele Kaltner, Karl-Ludwig Rieck and Ulrich Ferstl. They were happy to see many Weyermann® customers, using Weyermann® malt to produce their Whiskeys. Many new interested companies stopped by and made this show a successful event for Weyermann®.
The show as not only about Whiskey, it offered a great variety on show for the visitors, such as sausages, fish and chocolate all combined with finest sprits. The visitors were also entertained by distilling courses and tastings in addition to the 30 companies exhibiting.
The organizer counted between 1500 and 1600 visitors, mostly from between Berlin and the Lake Constance. But also a delegation of a Distilling Union from Luxembourg came to Volkach.
The Schlitzer Distillery, who received already many awards, received the engraved famous Weyermann® malt shuffle after the show. Congratulations.
