Hello,
I am a Washington, DC based homebrewer/beerwriter/beekeeper/hop wrangler and I wanted to thank you for producing your Bohemian Floor Malted Pilsner malt. I used it as 100 percent of my grist for a triple decocted Czech pilsner that took 2nd place at the Pilsner Urquell sponsored Master Homebrewers Competition here in the States last week.
I brewed a double decocted Tmave with my friend and decorated professional brewer Jason Oliver of Devils Backbone earlier this year in which we also used your Floor Malted Pilsner as a large percent of the grist to great effect as well. Jason was very proudly wearing his red Weyermann jumpsuit which he told me he earned by medaling at GABF using your malts. I was wondering if you all would consider offering me a jumpsuit that I could proudly wear for my medal at the Master Homebrewers Competition?
Here is a link to a profile about my artisan approach to brewing from the Washington Post:

Thanks for your craftsmanship and your kind consideration,

Answer: Hello Nathan,
My name is Simone, I am one of Mrs. Weyermann´s assistants and I would like to thank you very much for your inquiry about our red Weyermann®-branded overalls!
Congratulations on your medal at the Master Homebrewers Competition!
We often receive requests from brewers around the world, who wish to purchase a pair of these practical work clothes.
While we are flattered by these inquiries, we cannot make our overalls available for sale, because we give them away as thank-you-gifts to brewers whose beers with Weyermann® malt have won GABF, World Beer Cup, or European Beer Start medals.
Ownership of a red Weyermann® suit, therefore, has become a mark of achievement in the industry, a tradition that we wish to continue.
Whenever you win one of the mentioned prizes, please let us know and we will be very happy to send you a pair!
We will be pleased to send you one of our popular Weyermann® T-Shirts with the scenery of our historical Malting Plant! Please let me know your size and delivery address (including your Telephone number) and I will be more than happy to forward the T-Shirt to you.
Best regards,
Simone Böllner

Dear Sabine,
I would like to give my sincere thanks for the wonderfoul tour of your facilities during our visit to Bamberg. I discovered that you produce smoked malt extract which happened to have the exact ratio of rauchmalz and farbmalz as we use for our own Rauchbockbier. I will ask Crosby & Baker to consider carrying it as I think I could sell a lot of it in our store.
Andy and Simone did a wonderful job of showing me and our son Kurt around. We saw a very personable, clean and well run business. The tasting of the barley wine was a particular treat! Perhaps you should export the bon bons.
I do not have to tell you what a wonderful time Bamberg was. Staying at a Brauereigasthof, Fässla, was just fantastic!
Please find enclosed three of our shirts, as a small thanks for the splendid tour. If you ever get near Cincinnati, please stop by for a visit. It would be a high honor for us.
Vielen Dank!
Dan Listermann
